Earl Grey Tea

To get the most out of your custom loose-leaf blend, use the following guidelines per 8oz cup of fresh water:

1. Measure: Give your bag a gentle shake to distribute the blend. Scoop 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of loose tea into your favorite infuser, strainer, or reusable tea bag.

2. Heat Your Water:

   • For Green Tea: Bring water to a gentle simmer (175°F - 180°F). Avoid boiling water, as it can burn delicate green leaves.

   • For Oolong Tea: Heat water to just under a boil (185°F - 195°F).

   • For Black Tea & Earl Grey: Bring water to a full rolling boil (206°F - 212°F).

3. Steep: Pour hot water over your leaves and cover your mug to trap the aromatic essential oils.

   • Green Tea: Steep for 2 to 3 minutes.

   • Oolong Tea: Steep for 3 to 4 minutes.

   • Black Tea & Earl Grey: Steep for 3 to 5 minutes.

4. Enjoy & Re-steep: Remove the infuser to stop the brewing process. Because our leaves are premium whole-leaf quality, you can save the leaves and re-steep them a second time for a lighter, bonus cup!
